answer 1
The Nike Zoom Rotational 5 is better suited for discus and hammer throwers. Any shoe that has SD on it means it is for shotput as well as discus, therefore it has more grip/traction. The rotational 5 has a slick bottom for a faster spin.

answer 2
Essentially, the men's Nike Zoom SD 3 & the men's Nike Zoom Rotational 5 have the same concept design as each other. Both shoes are designed for the spin and/or glide techniques, both shoes have a mid foot strap for better foot lockdown, and both are designed with similar materials. Even the weight seems identical. It really is a matter of personal preference as to which style you prefer the most.
