The adidas miCoach Pacer Bundle will revolutionize your run. Every runner is different, and every heart is unique. miCoach takes the guesswork out of interval training by using the heart rate monitor to simplify the science of running so you can reach your goal and see results. With 98% accuracy out of the box, the stride sensor tracks your pace, distance and stride rate and relays each back to you through real-time audible coaching. The Pacer interacts with the stride sensor and heart rate monitor to tell you what you need by using color zones. Push on it at any time to hear real-time audible reports on pace, distance, time, heart rate and calories burned. It works great by itself, or if you prefer music, it's compatible with nearly every mp3 player. Get all three components in the conveniently packaged adidas miCoach Pacer Bundle.
I would think the vendor website (adidas) would have replacement parts for the adidas MiCoach Pacer. They are the ones who manufacture the item and should be able to service it as well. Unfortunately, we do not sell the chest strap separately.
The belt with the adidas MiCoach Pacer should be worn on the chest. If it is worn in any other location, there is no guarantee that the stats will be accurate. The 5th generation nano should be compatible with the MiCoach bundle. We are waiting for a call from the vendor as it may need an adapter depending on the jack size. We will respond to this question again, tomorrow.
The adidas MiCoach Pacer will measure shorter distances as well as longer distances. I've heard of people using this on their treadmills even. So 40 yards should be a far enough of a distance for the Pacer to start calculations for you.
Essentially....yes. The Adidas MiCoach Pacer stride sensor tracks your pace, distance and stride rate and relays each back to you through real-time audible coaching. The Pacer interacts with the stride sensor and heart rate monitor to tell you what you need by using color zones. Push on it at any time to hear real-time audible reports on pace, distance, time, heart rate and calories burned.
I am very close to buying the micoach bundle. My last remaining concern is how does the micoach Pacer clip to my current MP3 player? I understand it is compatible, but how are both units used at the same time. I currently use the Nike Ipod Nano with the Nike + system where the transmitter plugs directly into the bottom of the nano. Since adidas offers its own transmitter, how does the info. work in conjunction with the music component of the nano?
The miCoach PacerZone interacts with the heart rate monitor to display what heart rate zone you're in. You can press it at any time to see real-time information on your color zone, heart rate, calories burned, and elapsed time.
The adidas MiCoach Pacer works with any MP3 player...including the iphone. Please note on the iphone that you will need to buy a headphone adaptor for the 3mm jack to work (but yes, it works). When apple made the iphone, the recessed jack is larger than your standard 3mm-it's 3.5mm.
