The rubber outsole of the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe has several indentations on the bottom that would work good on rougher surfaces. The shoe does not have the traditional herringbone traction pattern that is designed for indoor courts, but will perform well on both indoor & outdoor surfaces. As for running, this would have to be based from personal preference. There are specific shoes designed for runners such as there are specific shoes tailored to basketball, such as the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe. Altho this basketball shoe could be used for running, most would prefer a regular running shoe that is most likely a little lighter.

Outdoor sole
I recently purchased the black/blue/chilling red colour ways of this website and they seam to have an outdoor sole because I have absolutely no grip indoors. Was there anyway for me to have known this before I bought them or is it just a lucky dip?
I cannot play in them at all for I always fall over and are dangerous for injury.

The description in the copy for the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe suggests the outsoles have a black mamba-inspired traction which features a zonally engineered pattern and flex grooves for quick, precise cuts. There are also images of the bottom of the shoes shown on the website. A lot of the reviews say good things of the traction, and the majority seem pleased with the shoe. Usually reading up on the shoe before purchasing helps give an idea of the performance.

The youth version of the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe will have identical shoe construction and technology. So, yes, the youth version will also have the Nike Zoom™ unit in the heel. Normally, a size 07.0 is considered a men's shoe. So you would have to find a colorway from the men's selections.

I've checked all of our sku's that were created for the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe, and besides the colorways that are currently showing on the website, there are no other styles that we will be selling with Red in the colorway.

The vendor is the one who is restricting the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe from shipping to Australia. Unfortunately, we have no control of this nor do we know if the ban will be lifted soon. This style may be available locally tho. You would have to check some stores to see if it is stocked in your area.

I regret to say that I will not be of much help either. The vendor is the one who decides what size runs will be offered in their styles, and it does appear as if the biggest size made in the men's Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe was a size 15.0. I could only suggest trying the vendor website again to get an idea if there is even a size 16.0 out there available for this style. If so, I would think the stores or private sellers would be the best place to start tracking one down.
