Yes, if that is what you prefer. The women's Saucony Grid Kilkenny XC4 Spike is intentionally designed for cross country racing; but it really comes down to personal choice in the end. Many runners use one shoe for different length races and will just swap out the spike pins if needed for the other events. The shoe itself is lightweight and you probably wouldn't notice much difference between this design and a regular Sprint spike, besides the spike placement itself.
