Is this shoe made for shot put and discus?

The description on this shoe is not very clear. It specifies "javelin spike", we are not clear what this is. Can this shoe be used in both shot and discus events?

We will be revamping the copy on the website for the men's ASICS® Cyber Throw London shoe. This style, sku #32070190, is not a javelin shoe, but is engineered with both the glide and spin throwing styles in mind and can be used for the discus and shot put events.

Actually, our fit technician found that the men's ASICS® Cyber Throw London shoe runs 1/2 size big; so we would recommend that you order a 1/2 size smaller than your normal shoe size.
