Unfortunately, there are no sizes on order at all for the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly in the Volt/Metallic Gold/Sequoia colorway. This particular style will no longer be available from the website once warehouse inventory is gone.

The Nike Zoom Superfly R4 and Nike Zoom Ja Fly, are both high quality sprint shoes. It comes down to personal preference. Please note that the Superfly is best for 100m - 200m and the Ja Fly is best for
100m - 400m.

Really hard for me to say whether the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike will be comfortable for you or not...especially if you have arch issues. The spike doesn't really have any features that will help with pronation or support issues. I guess a good aspect is that you won't be wearing the shoes all day long, but normally just for events or practice. Yet sometimes the only way to know how the shoe feels is to try a pair on somewhere. You can always come back to the website to order if the price is better.

I'm not sure what Saucony spike you are referencing, but most spikes shoes regardless of brand name will fit very snug. Nike is known to have a slim profile with their shoes. Being especially so with spikes, if you feel you have a wider foot than most, I would recommend sizing up at least a 1/2 size to allow for more room in the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike.

Unfortunately not. There is no all Black colorway created in the system for the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike, and the colorways that are available are already showing on the website with no new designs on order.

The men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike is a sprint spike that is designed for 100-400 meter distances. So, yes, this style sounds as if it would work well for you. Considering the simplistic design, it has pretty decent cushioning that helps with impact.

Question

Difference between Powercat 3 and zoom ja fly?

Hi,
I don't fully understand from the questions above the difference between the powercat 3 spikes and the ja fly. I currently own powercat 2 spikes and I am ordering one one of the two mentioned above. I know one weighs 0.2 oz less but both have flywire and same spike layout. What would you recommend? I also noticed the powercat 3's are not on the nike website.

Thanks

The men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike and the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike have very similar designs to each other and will have basically the same performance features and shoe technologies. The deciding factor for you in choosing these two styles may very well be the actual colorways of the spikes or the price itself. Try checking out some consumer reviews as well. This might give an idea for you as to which design you prefer.

Both the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike and the men's ASICS® Japan Lite-Ning 4 spike are designed for sprint racing. Which brand & style you prefer will be your personal preference. I would recommend checking out some reviews on both styles to see what other runners are saying of the designs. I can point out that the Asics brand has 8mm compression pins and weighs less than the Nike Zoom Ja Fly, the Nike uses it's renown Flywire technology in the upper while the other has a synthetic leather upper, or the fact that the Nike has eight spike pins whereas the Asics only has six; but all this information needs to be processed by you so you can get an idea of what may work for you. The construction for different brands can be unique from one another and a good place to get the basis of each design is the vendors' website itself.

There really is no difference in the spike plates between the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly & the men's Nike Zoom Powercat 3. There are eight actual spike pins, which are both the 7mm Christmas Tree style, and the plate itself is made of similar materials so the flex will be just about the same. Even the placement of the spikes is identical on both designs.

The black rings on the spike plate of the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike are 'risers' that can be removed if you want. Otherwise their intention is for added traction.

Essentially, both the men's Nike Zoom Ja Fly spike and the men's Nike Zoom Powercat 3 spike are built with the same shoe technology and materials, even weighing just about the same. The main difference will be the actual bottom of the spike plate and the colorways offered in each design.
