adidas adiZero Prime SP - Men's

The adidas adiZero Prime SP track spike features a SPRINTWEB seamless upper that is designed using a laminate composite to lock the foot down during the event-specific motion of high-level acceleration while maintaining a barefoot feel. Laser-welded Spaceframe in the midfoot provides maximum support using geometry. Reduces bending through two independent pieces welded together to create a plate that is stiffer than the actual materials used to construct it. adiZero Nano plate transfers power through the whole foot while reducing torque on the midfoot to maximize energy return. Plate minimizes weight while giving the maximum energy output elite sprinters seek. Six permanent nano-ceramic compression pins are positioned to minimize braking forces and support greater propulsive impulse for accrued speed. Integrating the pins into the shoe allows the foot to be closer to the track. Recommended for 60m, 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 110 hurdles. Removable insole. Wt. 3.8 oz.

The adidas adiZero Prime SP - Men's, will run true to size in length and width. I would recommend going with your normal shoe size. A size 8 Men's will measure 26cm. You will want to add .5cm for each half size going up. A size 8.5 will measure 26.5 cm as an example. If you wear less than a man's size 8, just subtract .5 cm for each half size lower. A size 7.5 Men's would then be 25.5 cm.

Question

Size 12.5... should I risk it?

I'm typically a size 12.5 with spikes, although I occasionally have worn 12 size spikes. I'm thinking about buying these for the 100m but I'm not sure if I want to risk going down anymore in size on a shoe that I've heard is already a tight fit. What do you think?

The Adidas AdiZero Prime SP - Men's, will run true to size in length and width. For this shoe, I would recommend going with the shoe size that you normally wear (size 12.5). I wouldn't go any lower than a size 12 for this particular spike.

Question

2 parts to the question pertaining to the colours and the spikes

HI, I have two questions/

Firstly, will there be any other colours of the adizero prime sp, other than the current yellow one, on sale on Eastbay?? and if there are other colours, when would it be for sale??

Secondly, if the compression pins are moulded into the shoe and are not able to be screwed out, does this mean I am unable to replace these pins with 7mm spikes or something? if this is the case, what do I do when the compression pins become blunt like spike nails normally do.

Unfortunately, it appears the smallest size we will have available for the men's adidas adiZero Prime SP spike is the 06.5 that is currently showing on the website, and that is only in the Vivid Yellow/Black/White colorway. The other style has sold out in the smaller sizing. Spikes tend to fit snug and the 06.5 might work for you. I realize you are an international customer and at a disadvantage for returning items, plus the shoe won't be available for you to order until it is actually in stock. In the meantime though, it might be with the time to find a similar design locally to try on to get an idea if the 06.5 will work for you.
