Yes, the men's Nike Zoom Waffle Racer 9 can be used as a Sprint shoe if you like. Most runners would probably prefer the traditional spike shoe with pins for best possible traction; but that is generally an individual preference anyway.

The Nike Zoom Waffle Racer 9 racing flat is made for the long distance cross country runner, 1500-10K meters, but can still be used for 400-1500m if you want to.
