For fit, look at each shoe design differently. One cleat can fit differently from another. We usually try to have a 'Fit Guide' listed online to help our customers get a feel of the sizing, which we do for this style. Please reference this information to help you decide shoe fit. The studs on the men's Nike Vapor Pro Low TD Lacrosse cleat are not metal, but a strong, TPU type of material. Most football and Lacrosse cleats we show online will have plastic studs, not metal. There are exceptions though.

No. In the end it comes down to personal preference as to what type of cleat style you like to wear in football. (as long as their are no equipment guidelines I am unaware of for your league...ask the coach to be sure) Most Lacrosse cleats are designed just like football cleats anyway. The major difference would be extra stubs on the spike plate most times. If you like the looks of the men's Nike Vapor Pro Low TD Lacrosse cleat, then by all means try it out. You'll have the same advantages of this design for football games as well.
