The men's Nike KD V shoe is a good choice for a center. Depends on personal preference in shoe construction; but the Phylon™ midsole in conjunction with the Max Air™ heel cushioning and forefoot Nike Zoom™ unit should last at least a full season with no issues. If taken care of properly, most will continue using the shoes well after the season is over. If you liked the support offered with the Hyperdunk, then you should be pleased with the fit of the KD design.

If you have wider feet than most, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to order a 1/2 size larger in the men's Nike KD V shoe. The Nike last may seem a bit narrower than some other well known brands.
