How does the width of the shoe work?

I don't have narrow feet but they are not wide how do I work out what width would be best for me

If you do not have "narrow" or "wide" feet, you will want the standard width shoe "Width - D - Medium". If you have narrow feet, the shoes will be labeled "narrow". If you have wide feet, you can choose between "2E - Wide" and "4E - X Wide". So, if you have a typical foot (not narrow, or wide) you will likely want the "Width - D - Medium" version which is the standard and most common width.
