The technical difference between the men's Nike Zoom Victory spike and the men's Nike Zoom Victory XC spike is that the XC series has 3/8" pyramid pins, whereas the Nike Zoom Victory spike series has 1/4" long pins. Otherwise, the spike plate, midsole, & upper will have a very similar design and fit, altho it is based on personal preference whether the XC series is more comfortable since it is made for longer distances. Usually, the XC series would be used for distances of 1500-10000m, and the Nike Zoom Victory spike with the 1/4" spikes is used more for 400-1500m distances.
